Subaru will be out in full force at their home show as the manufacturer is set to reveal an all new concept car with the Advanced Tourer Concept.
The Advanced Tourer Concept comes in a wagon form factor and appears to be styled to compete with European wagons. Subaru says that "this C-segment class car was developed as a new-generation sports wagon providing both superior driving performance and utility."
The concept makes full use of Subaru's array of technologies, beginning with a horizontally opposed engine that gets direct gasoline injection. The engine, a 1.6 liter turbo, is one of the first of Subaru's downsized motors and gets a hybrid drive system that has been optimized with the Symmetrical All Wheel Drive System and the Lineartronic CVT transmission. The Advanced Tourer also gets Subaru's advanced EyeSight driving assist system.
Alongside the Advanced Tourer Concept will be the Impreza Sport 5 door, Impreza G4, the production model BRZ rear-wheel drive sports car, and the S206, the ultimate STI version of the current Subaru Impreza sedan.
