Being synonymous with Subaru’s line of concept vehicles since 2013, the ‘Viziv’ indicates the design direction that Subaru heads towards in the near future. And while they’ve come out with everything from the next WRX STI to an outlandish concept for Gran Turismo, this time the Viziv Concept Tourer possibly hints towards a crosstrek/wagon design study.
Set to make its debut at this year’s Geneva Auto Show, the sixth vehicle from the Viziv lineup is teased in this image from Subaru to have a wagon-like profile. Based off this silhouette it’s still difficult to pinpoint whether we’re looking at a wagon or some kind of crossover, but it hopefully hints towards the design direction for the next-gen Levorg.
Considering that the Levorg has been around since 2014, we can well speculate that the next generation will be riding on Subaru’s new Global Platform and that it may take several styling cues from this concept – albeit toned down for mass production. Either way, next month’s Geneva show will give us a first glimpse into the future aesthetic of Subaru vehicles.
