Remember the beast that is the Mercedes-AMG G63 6x6? Purpose-built to be both luxurious and rugged, the G63 6x6 is unapologetically brutish and huge. However, there's a new 6x6 SUV that takes on a more opulent approach. Say hello to the Range Rover SLT.
Short for Superyacht Land Tender, this custom Range Rover was made by German-based T.Fotiadis Design. It is their take on making a luxurious land yacht and will come with yacht-inspired furnishings.
It measures a staggering 6198mm long, 2134mm wide and 1854 tall. This makes the SLT longer by 323mm than the AMG SUV. However, the G63 6x6 is wider by 76mm and taller by 356mm. Further highlighting the SUV's immense size are the equally huge 20-inch alloy shod in the wheel wells.
Exact details as to what features will be available on the 6x6 SLT are not yet available. However, do expect the luxury SUV to come with fully adjustable rear seats with massage function, a high-tech entertainment system, full leather upholstery and four-zone climate control among others.
There is also no word as to what type of engine will power the SLT. But given its gargantuan size, it will be no surprise that this could come with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 or 4.4-liter turbo-diesel V8.
When officially launched, not only will the Range Rover SLT take on the G63 6x6, it will also take the fight to the Hennessey Velociraptor and the Kahn Design Flying Huntsman.
