Powertrain details are yet to be released
Suzuki has released the first official image of the Alto RS Turbo concept ahead of its debut at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon in January.
The said concept is basically the turbocharged version of the standard Alto for the Japanese market. The exterior of the Alto RS Turbo concept has been tweaked by Suzuki enabling the vehicle to have its own identity compared to the standard model.
Up front, the difference between the Alto RS Turbo concept and the standard model can easily be noticed. It has blacked out headlights along with red accents seen on the bumper and exterior mirrors. The grill of the Alto RS Turbo concept also differs from the standard model. In fact, if you look closely, you'll notice that the radiator grill is composed of three horizontal bars. The hood as well as the roof of the concept features a silver colored vinyl. It is finished off with red 17-inch alloy wheels.
In terms of power, Suzuki remains coy in handing out the official details. The standard Alto comes with either a five-speed automated manual or a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
