Suzuki Sport spices up the Ignis, Baleno, Ertiga
Suzuki has added some spice to their models during the 2018 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. Dubbed the Suzuki Sport series, the special updates have been applied to the Ignis, Baleno, and, in concept form, the Ertiga.
For the Ertiga, the most noticeable styling tweak is in the headlights, which are smoked. It also gets a mesh grill to complement the dark-tinted headlights. The bumper is the same as the standard model, but it does gain a deeper front apron, which aims to give the small MPV a bit of an aggressive look. Ground-hugging side skirts and a tacked-on rear diffuser kit are also part of the package and wrapping it all up are a set of low-profile, gunmetal finish wheels and a lower ride height.
The Ignis Sport on the other hand gets a different front bumper to give it big SUV looks. The new bumper gets a different air intake arrangement, thicker cladding and a faux skid plate. Its grill gets a tweak too with its chrome trim pieces replaced by strips of LED. Like the front, the rear gets a new bumper, again with thicker cladding while gloss black alloy wheels complete the look. Stripes can also be added to the car which can be mixed and matched with various color combinations.
Last but not least is the Baleno which gets an aero pack for its Suzuki Sport treatment. The spruced up Baleno has a lower, rounded off front bumper kit, along with a side skirt and rear bumper kit. Along with the aero kit, the Suzuki Baleno Sport then rides on larger wheels which feature a multi-spoke, two-tone look.
