2010 Suzuki SX4 Crossover launched in the Philippines
Updates and rebrands SX4 Sedan to SX4 Aero
Suzuki Philippines Inc. recently launched its newest car models with the introduction of the new Suzuki SX4 Crossover and the updated Suzuki SX4 Aero (sedan).
The new SX4 Crossover is equipped with dynamic exterior features such as honeycomb type front grille, fender arch, roof rails, and 16" alloy wheels. Occupant safety is assured by a high rigidity body that utilizes TECT (Total Effective Control Technology). Active safety features include dual side airbags, and anti-lock brakes. While a spacious cargo area and passenger seat under tray complete the SX4 Crossover package.
The SX4 Sedan receives not only a restyling but a rebranding as the new Suzuki SX4 Aero featuring a sportier profile and a more aggressive front grille. A rear spoiler with third brake light, 17" alloy wheels and rear disc brakes make this sedan a standout.
Inside, the instrument cluster serves as a virtual information center with a fuel consumption gauge, fuel range and digital clock. The audio system has been upgraded with an 8-speaker system, MP3 CD player and auxiliary input. Audio controls are mounted on the leather-wrapped steering wheel for easy access.
Both vehicles share the same M16A engine, a 1600cc 16-valve DOHC engine with variable-valve timing (VVT). The engine delivers a maximum output of 110hp at 5,600rpm and maximum torque of 150Nm at 3,800rpm. It is mated to a 4-speed gate-type automatic transmission.
Pricetag for the SX4 Aero is set at Php890,000; while the SX4 Crossover will sell for Php899,000.
