The Bangkok International Motor Show, in its 33rd year and considered as one of Asia's biggest motor show will be showcasing cars that will most probably be make it to our shores as well as other ASEAN region. The show will run from March 26 to April 8, 2012 but the show will not be available for the general public until the 28th of March. So we at AutoIndustriya.com will be giving you a glimpse of what major aautomobile manufacturers will be uncovering for this show.
BMW will put on display the all-new 3 series which will be available in the Philippine market soon as well as the Active Hybrid 5, the first BMW to add an electric motor to a turbocharged 3-liter engine. Volvo will be bringing out their S60 and its big brother, the V60.
Toyota will showcase the All-new Toyota Camry, which is expected to go on sale here in the Philippines by late April, Together with a few of their concept cars like the FTEV 3, NS4, and the Toyota86.
With Thailand being well known for its traffic jams, small and subcompact cars joins the lineup of cars that will be previewd this week. Some of them that are expected to show up are Mitsubishi's Mirage, Ford's Focus Titanium, Chevrolet's Sonic, Mini Coupe S Roadster, Volkswagen Beetle, and Nissan's March Nismo Concept.
Mercedes Benz have their hands full and will be showcasing three all-new models. The B-Class, M-class, and the C63 AMG.
Heavyweights like the recently launched Ford Ranger and Chevrolet Trailblazer will also be present.
For those that are looking for luxury and exotic cars, Bentley, Mitsuoka, and Lamborghini are just some of the manufacturers that will be adding glamour to the floor of the exhibition center. Bentley will display the Mulsanne together with the infamous Continental GT V8. Mitsuoka will be showing up with the ViewT, and Lamborghini will be highlighting several editions of its Gallardo.
Together with Toyota and Nissan. Mazda, Mercedes Benz, and Honda will also showcase their concept cars on the show with the Minagi, A-class and Brio respectively.
The 33rd Bangkok International Motor Show will be held at IMPACT Exhibition Center's Challenger Halls 1-3 and will run from March 26 until April 8,2012.
