Pilipinas Taj Autogroup Inc., the exclusive distributor of Tata vehicles in the country, has just launched seven heavy-duty eco-diesel models during the Big 7 event held at the Mega Tent in Libis, Quezon City last September 25.

Tata PH unveiled their diesel powered cars, pickups and mini trucks that includes the Indigo sedan, Manza Aura, Indica, Vista Ignis, Xenon XT pickup, Super Ace and Ace. The event was graced by the Ambassador of India to the Philippines.

The Pilipinas Taj says says the Indigo Diesel is a Tata Motors bestseller because of its fuel efficiency and spacious interior cabin. The front styling of the vehicle is designed with the brand's signature chrome smiling grille and teardrop headlights. It is powered by a 1.4-liter turbo diesel engine and fitted with an independent suspension. On the other hand, Tata says the hatchback Indica Diesel features the same amenities along with a sportier look.

Tata's Big 7

Joining Tata's lineup of diesel variants, the Manza Aura and Vista Ignis offers similar styling and dimensions to the gasoline powered models counterpart. Tata says the said models have high-class brake and suspension systems along with a classy interior.

The Tata Xenon XT, available either as a 4x4 or 4x2 variant, offers more power and enhanced looks. The Indian automaker says it now has a sleeker console, adjustable seating, streamlined facilities and a tougher load body. It can deliver 150 PS of power with 223 Nm of torque.

Moreover, Tata introduced their diesel powered mini trucks, the Super Ace and Ace, which features a multi-purpose bodies which can easily be customized for delivery or transport of various business needs.

The said models can be visited and test-driven at Tata Motors showroom along Marcos Highway in Marikina City, Ortigas Extension in Cainta, Rizal and Barrio Pampanga in Davao City.
