The 67th Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance is in full swing and Lexus is celebrating its 21st year as a sponsor of the prestigious event. To commemorate the occasion, Lexus arrived at the annual event with not one, but two concepts that each show what the future of luxury has to hold.
First up is the LC Inspiration Concept finished in bright Flare Yellow. While it may look similar to run-of-the-mill models, it does come with some subtle changes and revisions. For starters, it rolls on huge 21-inch black forged alloy wheels which gives a stark contrast against the yellow paintjob. It even gets a carbon fiber roof and an active rear spoiler for good measure.
Inside, Lexus was also busy giving the LC Inspiration a one-of-a-kind interior makeover. Bespoke Yellow door inserts made of Alcantara surround the cabin which complement the brightly-painted exterior. Meanwhile, the seats are upholstered in white aniline leather with yellow contrast stitching. Other portions of the cabin like the dashboard, console box and instrument panel also receive the yellow contrast stitching.
A 5.0-liter naturally-aspirated V8 drives the LC Inspiration Concept. It produces 471 PS and is mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission. It can sprint from 0 – 97 km/h in as little as 4.4 seconds. There is no word yet if the Inspiration Concept will be turned into a production kit available for the LC.
If you're more into the aftermarket look, Lexus also has a customized UX 250h at this year's Pebble Beach. Made exclusively by Clark Ishihara of VIP Auto Salon, the custom UX 250h is covered in a unique Oracal vehicle wrap and also has an aftermarket roof rack.
Apart from that, the tricked-out UX 250h also has Vossen VF-1 alloy wheels, Nitto Invo tires, Apexi N1 dampers and full catback exhaust system and a bespoke bodykit from NIA Auto Design.
