At the 3rd Philippine International Motorshow, Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. pulled out all the stops as they unveiled -in star studded style- their new and updated lineup for the 2010 model year.
The newest car amongst them was the Sonata, which has begun to take hold in the executive car segment. The highly sought Tucson was also on display along, along with the powerful Genesis Coupe. Hyundai have also unveiled upgraded versions and new variants in the new Santa Fe and the Grand Starex, respectively.
Hyundai released the upgraded version of the Santa Fe SUV, featuring an updated new look and more high end features. What's truly changed with the Santa Fe are its powerplants, as customers can now benefit from Hyundai's latest range of engines in the R eVGT 2.2L diesel and the Theta-II gasoline engines that have better power and promise even better fuel economy.
The Grand Starex gets a new version in its already extensive line up in the new Grand Starex Limousine. The Limousine is the top of the line in the Grand Starex range, and comes with high levels of comfort and space, and even has a 5.1 channel DVD entertainment system and premium leather for all rows.
Another star in the show for Hyundai was the ix-Metro, showcasing the brand's thrust for the future and for sustainable motoring. With a radical design new design and a revolutionary Hybrid Electric powerplant, the ix-Metro is the shape of things to come from the Korean automaker.
