Yesterday, Chery Auto officially made its comeback into the Philippines with an arsenal of crossovers. Now under the distributorship of United Asia Auto Group Inc. (UAAGI), the same company that handles Foton Philippines, Chery Auto is looking at establishing itself in the mainstrem market with its lineup of Tiggo crossovers.

With it, the company is set to grow and expand rapidly in the Philippines by establishing its dealer network immediately. But how will UAAGI expand Chery Auto's dealerships in a short span of time? By tapping onto their existing network of Foton dealerships.

Instead of building new showrooms with different partners, UAAGI decided that the best course of action is to establish Chery with their already existing partners under Foton. In fact, the company has already announced that they will initially have 12 dealerships that will span across Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The company is looking to start sales as soon as January 2020.

Listed below are the following locations where Chery Auto will be established:

-Pasig

-La Union

-Bacoor, Cavite

-GMA, Cavite

-Talisay City, Cebu

-General Santos

-Cainta, Rizal

-Pasong Tamo, Makati

-Alabang

-Iloilo

-Cagayan De Oro

With the company yet to establish its new dealerships, Chery Auto will be displaying their new Tiggo crossovers in the coming weeks via mall displays and road shows. These will be done in SM Malls, Robinson's Malls, as well as Ayala Malls nationwide.

Chery Auto Philippines' lineup consists of the Tiggo 2, Tiggo 5x, Tiggo 7, and the Tiggo 8. The Tiggo 2 starts at Php 695,000 and serves as the brand's smallest offering. Next up is the Tiggo 5x which is Chery's B-segment crossover fighter that starts at Php 815,000.

It is then followed by the Tiggo 7, a turbocharged compact crossover that is available at Php 1.195 million. Finally, the Tiggo 8 serves as the flagship 7-seater model and it begins at Php 1.280 million.

All Chery vehicles are covered by a 5-year / 150,000 km warranty, as well as a long 10-year / 1,000,000 km powertrain warranty.
