There's nothing quite like seeing a luxurious two-door in a nice shade of paint. Not only does it please the eyes, it can also complement the overall design of such a car. For Lexus however, they wanted to kick it up a notch for a limited-edition model of their flagship LC 500 grand tourer.

If last year's special edition saw Lexus release the Yellow Edition LC 500, this year they tried to inspire with a green hue. Say hello to the 2020 LC 500 Inspiration Series that is finished in a distinct new color. According to the automaker, the new Nori Green Pearl paint is exclusive only to the Inspiration Series and complements every angle of the LC's signature look. Meanwhile, two-tone 21-inch alloy wheels complete the stunning new look of Lexus' flagship GT.

Not only did they give it a fresh coat of paint, Lexus also made some neat changes inside the LC 500. For starters, the 10-way power-adjustable power seats are trimmed in aniline leather, the softest and highest-grade leather available in Lexus' lineup. They are then finished in Saddle Tan which is also an exclusive finish for the Inspiration Series.

Contrasting with the Saddle Tan hide is the Black Amber leather trim which is used on the steering wheel, dashboard, center console, and the doors. Finally, touches of Alcantara on the door panels add that extra premium look and feel for the Inspiration Series. And in order to remind everyone that this is indeed a limited edition LC 500, Lexus placed a custom sill plate that marks the nature of each car.

Under the hood is still the same 5.0-liter naturally-aspirated V8 that is mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission. It cranks out 471 PS along with a meaty 540 Nm of torque. This translates to a 0 – 97 km/h sprint of only 4.4 seconds.

Want one? Only 100 units will be made in total and they are all destined for the US market. Hopefully Lexus makes more of these for other global markets like the Philippines. Fingers crossed Lexus Manila will be able to get their hands on several units should the automaker make some for other markets.
