New Jeep EV set to be launched in early 2023
Have you ever fancied going on overlanding adventures without spending money on fuel? Well, we don't need to wait much longer because Jeep is turning that into a reality.
The renowned 4x4 automaker has released images of its first-ever fully-electric SUV during Stellantis' Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan presentation. Jeep's new EV model appears to have a compact crossover body with the brand's signature seven-slot grille.
Furthermore, it features slim headlights in front with smoked LED taillamps at the rear. The SUV wears a two-tone black and yellow color combination and is fitted with large five-spoke wheels wrapped in Goodyear tires.
Jeep plans to launch the new model as early as the first half of 2023, with more information regarding Jeep's battery-electric vehicle (BEV) to be made available in the upcoming months.
Currently, the Jeep vehicle range consists of the Cherokee, Compass, Gladiator, and the Renegade, with the Grand Cherokee and Wrangler models being offered with the hybrid 4xe variant. By 2025 however, they intend to introduce electrified versions across their SUV lineup.
With their first EV just along the horizon, Jeep is staying true to their vision of combining off-road capability with zero CO2 emissions. Exciting times indeed for nature-loving 4x4 enthusiasts.
