According to several reports, it's possible that Toyota and Lexus are about to get a performance sub-brand: TMG.
TMG actually stands for Toyota Motorsport GmbH, the company's racing and motorsport arm, formerly known as Toyota Team Europe (TTE). If you recall, TTE/TMG was responsible for Toyota's WRC activities back in the 1990s.
Spy photographers caught a high performance version of the Lexus LS sedan romping around the Nurburgring for tests. The car will reportedly be known as the Lexus LSF TMG edition or some variation thereof, and will be getting 650 horsepower from a 4968cc engine... possibly a V10 similar to the LFA.
The LS TMG edition's leaked data sheet also indicates that the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, and has a top speed of 320 km/h.
