The 2014 Panamera Turbo S will come with an enhanced engine, new turbochargers sporting larger compressors and new aluminium alloy pistons to produce an additional 50 horsepower and 50 Newton meters of torque for a total of 570 horsepower and 722.6 Newton meters of torque.
During overboost, torque is increased to 590 allowing it to rocket from 0-100 kph in 3.8 seconds with the help of the Launch Control Function on its 7-speed Dual-Clutch PDK AT, which is a bit hard to fathom for an almost 2-ton sedan.
To control all that power and brute force, Porsche has installed all available driver-assist systems and equipment in their stable. From Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) to PTV Plus, PTM, PSM, PASM all the way to the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes - acronyms that would give Worldy a run for its money.
All put together, it makes for a very stately and fast ride for a Porsche. If you fancy being chauffeured more than being behind the wheel, the 2014 Panamera Turbo S will also come in an Executive model with 4.7 inches more rear-seat legroom, ventilated seats and electronic window blinds.
The worldwide presentation and launch of the 2014 Porsche Panamera Turbo S will be at the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show.
