2017 Toyota 860 Special Editon revealed with unique paint, aerokit
The Toyota 86 has received a new special edition trim which gives it a special paint finish, along with several new goodies. Called the 860 Special Edition, the two-door sports coupe features a more eye-catching exterior finish, as well as a spruced up cabin.
The exclusive paint on the 860 Special Edition is called 'Supernova Orange' which gives the sports coupe a striking look. It will also be available in Halo White should a client want a more conservative color.
Aside from that, the special edition 86 also gets black stripes which contrasts the bright orange hue. Topping it all off are the rear spoiler, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED foglights and the new aerodynamic bodykit.
Making its way inside the cabin are seats wrapped in leather with orange contrast stitching. Other portions of the cabin like the steering wheel, shift boot, parking brake lever also receive the same colored stitching. Features such as dual-zone climate control, smart key and multimedia display will come as standard equipment as well.
All models of the 860 Limited Edition will come with a 4.2-inch multi info display that can show vital information like horsepower and torque curves, engine coolant and oil temperature, and average fuel consumption. It will also come with a G-Force meter and a built-in stopwatch.
Powering the 860 Special Edition is the ever familiar 2.0-liter FA20 Boxer engine. When paired with the 6-speed manual, the engine is capable of producing 205 PS and 211 Nm of torque. Get it with a 6-speed automatic, and the flat-four is rated at 200 PS along with 205 Nm of torque. The automatic model, however, does come with paddle shifters and rev match technology.
Only 860 units of the special Toyota 86 will be produced.
