2021 Toyota Hilux Revo Z Razer Edition revealed in Thailand
Toyota Thailand is not done dressing up the Hilux. After revealing the Hilux Revo GR Sport two weeks ago, the automaker has introduced yet another special edition of the pick-up truck.
Called the Hilux Revo Z Razer Edition, the pick-up truck gets a racing-inspired exterior upgrade. Only available for the low-riding dual-cab version, the Razer appearance pack gives the Hilux Revo Z Edition a sportier front bumper, side skirts, a revised rear lip, and a wide array of body graphics on the hood, tailgate, and doors.
Apart from those, customers can even choose to spec their Hilux with five-spoke alloy wheels, as well as a variety of GR Sport parts.
Under the hood, the Hilux Revo Z Razer Edition is only available with a 2.4-liter turbo-diesel engine. The six-speed manual variants produce 150 PS with 343 Nm of torque, while the six-speed automatic variants come with 150 PS and 400 Nm of torque. The special edition model will only come as a 4x2 pick-up truck.
For those looking to get these upgrades for their Hilux, Toyota Thailand is offering them in separate pieces. However, expect to pay a premium if you decide to get all of the exterior upgrades. The front bumper alone costs THB 8,310 ( PHP 12,807), while the side skirts are priced at THB 6,650 (PHP 10,250). The rear lip will cost you THB 3,050 (PHP 4,700) and the body graphics retail for THB 3,135 (PHP 4,831).
If you're planning on dressing up your Hilux to be flashier than your average work truck, perhaps the Razer appearance pack will help achieve that look. The only question now is, are you willing to pay that much to glam up a pick-up?
