Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) which comprises the Toyota and Lexus brands in the Philippines announced that it has already broken its highest annual sales in just the first eleven months of the year.  Based on the most recent CAMPI report, TMP sold a total of 58,890 units since January, giving them a 34.6% market share.

November sales played a key role in the manufacturer's success as it posted a growth of 9% from the same period of last year. Toyota registered total sales of 5,740 units last month, which is enough to maintain its top spot in both the passenger car segment with the Vios and the commercial vehicle segment with the Innova. Likewise, the Toyota Fortuner continues its strong performance and ended the month as the best selling SUV in the country once again.

Moreover, with only a month left from this year, TMP is poised to take home its 11th consecutive Triple Crown with the top spot in the Passenger Car segment (30.8% Market Share), Commercial Vehicle segment (36.8% Market Share) and overall sales.

In a statement, TMP president Mr. Michinobu Sugata said "Throughout this year, TMP has achieved several milestones. Just this November, we have experienced our highest yearly sales record in just 11 months. I am very happy as this is a clear sign that our customers continue to trust our ability to deliver the best products and services possible. On behalf of TMP, I would like to thank the Filipino people for trusting us for nearly 25 years. The support they have shown us is what drives us to move forward and serve them even better."
