Toyota PH says 2017 Wigo now available at dealers
Toyota's A-segment contender receives mid-cycle update, now on display in select dealerships

Looking for a new hatchback? You're in luck as Toyota Motors Philippines has just announced online that the updated 2017 Wigo is now available.
Set to take on other A-segment stalwarts like the Mitsubishi Mirage, Suzuki Celerio and Chevrolet Spark, the 2017 refresh gives the Wigo a new face, along with new features.
Beginning with the Wigo's front fascia, the updated hatchback receives new projector-type headlights, along with LED light signatures. It also comes with a larger front grill and a more prominent chrome trim. The side mirrors now have integral turn signals while a new set of 14-inch alloy wheels further spruce up the humble A-segment hatchback.
While TMP has yet to state the exact specifications of the 2017 Wigo, do remember that the automaker already launched the updated hatchback last April in Indonesia (as the Agya). Over there, the hatchback gets redesigned bucket seats while the door cards now have fabric trim. High-end models will come with a new touchscreen infotainment system and a three-spoke steering wheel with audio controls.
Driving the front wheels of the 2017 Wigo is the new 1.0-liter KR-VE three-cylinder engine. It now benefits from VVT-i and produces 65 PS at 6000 rpm along with 89 Nm of torque at 3600 rpm. Available transmissions include the 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic.
The 2017 Toyota Wigo is now available at select showrooms.
Pricing of the 2017 Wigo are as follows:
Wigo 1.0 E M/T - PhP 526,000
Wigo 1.0 G M/T - PhP 564,000
Wigo 1.0 G A/T - PhP 599,000
