Last April 2015, Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation surpassed the 1 million sales mark with a total of 1,000,468 units sold since TMP's start of operations in 1989. This was after Toyota had sold 9,467 units for the month of April.
The bulk of the sales came from the Toyota Tamara's FX, Revo, Innova, Corolla and Vios. With the Tamara's FX, Revo and Innova sales combined to a total of 268,065 units while the Corolla and Vios added another 213,325 and 157,347 units respectively to Toyota's total tally in less than three decades.
Out of the million units sold in the Philippines, TMP sold 615,899 locally manufactured vehicles which were all made in the Santa Rosa, Laguna plant and the old Bicutan factory.
