The emergence of online stores such as Lazada, Zalora, and Shopee has surely made shopping a lot more convenient. From clothes and food to car parts and accessories, almost everything you need can be bought online and delivered right to your doorstep with just the click of a button.

One of the biggest problems with online shopping, however, is that some of these online sellers could be selling fake or imitation goods. This not only goes for high-end designer shoes and clothing goods, but for almost everything posted on these shops including vehicle parts. The last thing you'd want is to fit fake parts onto your precious vehicle.

As a result, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is warning vehicle owners not to buy Toyota-branded products and accessories online, as neither TMP nor any of its authorized dealers sell genuine products online. They add that these parts could be counterfeit goods made to appear as Toyota genuine parts and accessories.
