In keeping with the company's Moving Forward mantra, Toyota just released a sneak peek at the next generation of their subcompact hatchback, the Yaris.
Developed via the concept of being "compact outside, spacious inside", the new Yaris shows Toyota's continuous improvement on the clever packaging of the previous generations.
The upcoming new Yaris has been designed and engineered to deliver the highest possible build quality. Inside, high quality materials and surface finishes have been used, while the driver's cockpit is now driver oriented.
There are no details as to the engines that will be available locally yet, though in Europe, Toyota announced that there will be a 1.4-liter D-4D diesel model along with a choice of two Toyota Optimal Drive petrol engines with a 1.0-liter VVT-i and a 1.33-liter dual VVT-i.
What do you think of Toyota's upcoming replacement for the venerable Yaris hatch?
