Toyota PH to launch all-new Vios with an awesome music festival
2019 Toyota Vios to headline the first-ever Toyota Music Fest
Get ready for something special this July as Toyota Motors Philippines (TMP) is preparing a very important launch the for the market, and they’ll be doing it with music festival.
That car is almost certainly the Toyota Vios.
Towards the end of the month, Toyota will hold the premiere of the new model along with a roll-out ceremony at their assembly plant in Laguna, will then be followed by the Toyota Music Fest. We expect that the all-new 2019 Vios, among the many bands that Toyota hve booked for thr event, will be headlining it.
The Toyota Music Fest will be held on July 28 at the Filinvest City Event Grounds in Muntinlupa City and will see acts from such bands / artists like: Ely Buendia, Ebe Dancel, Parokya Ni Edgar, 6Cyclemind, Silent Sanctuary, IV of Spades, December Avenue and The Ransom Collective. Gates will open at 2:00PM.

First launched in Thailand back in August 2017, the all-new Vios (called Yaris Ativ in The Land of Smiles), features a sleek redesign that gives the sedan a more upmarket look inside and out. Like the Yaris, the 2019 Vios will come with a swooping front end that is dominated by a large front grill and elongated headlights. Meanwhile, the rear fascia gets a more mature look thanks to a new set of taillights and a smooth-shaped rear bumper.

Last March 2018, an eagle-eyed motorist was able to spot what appears to be the next-gen Vios being driven in the Philippines. Based on the photos, it looks like we may well get the all-new Vios by way of the Yaris Ativ.

Inside, the Vios shares a similarly-designed cabin from the Yaris. High-end models can come with touchscreen infotainment, automatic climate control, keyless entry and start, as well as a 4.2-inch multi-info display.

Given that the Yaris uses the same 1.3- and 1.5-liter engines from before, the 2019 Vios will most likely have the same engine options upon launch. Transmission options for the 2019 Vios will most likely come from either a five-speed manual gearbox and a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
