Toyota owners can get free 20-point inspection in all dealerships
Whether you're headed to the province for the coming Holy Week or want extra peace of mind from your vehicle, Toyota has something special for its customers. From March 15 to April 10, 2021, all their dealerships will offer free vehicle inspections to keep your Toyota in top condition.
All authorized Toyota service centers can perform a 20-point check on your vehicle. But what exactly will they check? We asked the automaker, and here's what they had to say.
The 20-point inspection covers the following items:
-Parking brake
-Wiper blades
-Lights
-Air conditioning system
-Transmission fluid
-Brake fluid
-Power steering fluid
-Engine coolant
-Washer fluid
-Battery
-Air cleaner element
-Drive belt
-Spark plug (if applicable)
-Engine oil
-Tires
-Brake pad/shoe
-Shock absorbers
-Exhaust system
-Driveshaft (if applicable)
-Others (for diesel engines)
With that, think of the inspection as an MVIS service on your car. While it's not as comprehensive, the service advisors can tell you what needs immediate attention in your vehicle. For this instance, you don't have to shell out any money.
But that's not the only service Toyota is offering at the moment. There are also emergency roadside assistance teams ready to help at a moment's notice. These crews consist of certified Toyota service advisors and technicians. And if you're worried about the price of the parts, these teams provide a 10% discount on Toyota Genuine Parts and fluids.
