Lexus' latest luxury sports coupe already looks sleek and aggressive as it is. However, there will always be some who would want their LC to look even more aggressive. Luckily, Toyota Racing Development (TRD) has them covered for their needs. The Japanese in-house tuner has just released a new line of exterior upgrades for the Lexus LC.
Starting off with the most noticeable difference from the TRD upgrade, are the new 21-inch lightweight forged aluminum wheels. The wheels measure 21x8.5 inches in front and 21x9.5 inches at the rear. The TRD wheels features a multi-spoke design, somewhat similar to that of the Lexus GS F, giving it a more aggressive look.
In front, TRD has added subtle touches by having a small spoiler at each corner of the front bumper along with a rubber lip spoiler below the grille. Both of which, will supposedly add minimal downforce along with cleaning up the flow of air. An extra side skirt has also been installed to match the front lip spoiler.
Heading towards the rear, a trunk lip spoiler has been mounted. To complete the TRD exterior upgrade, the rear bumper also gets side spoilers along with a new, more aggressive diffuser. All of the additional TRD parts, are supposedly there to increase downforce, even by a small amount.
The TRD option is available in both the Lexus LC 500 and LC 500h as the kit is merely for the exterior. As the Lexus LC F is still on its way, the TRD catalog would be one way to make LC more aggressive.
