From posters, Renault has moved to video in its third teaser, showing off in the metal its newest weapon in the hot hatchback war, a Megane RS Trophy, undergoing dynamometer testing.
The clip is part of the car maker’s #Under8 campaign, which aims to make Renault bag the lap record for the fastest, front-wheel-drive production car around the world-famous Nurburgringcircuit in Germany.
The campaign is spearheaded by the French automaker’s racing arm, Renault Sport, in partnership with several performance parts makers, including Slovenian exhaust manufacturer Akrapovic.
Renault Sport said it would release full details of the campaign on June 16, 2014.
