Can’t wait to get your hands on the all-new Toyota Supra once it comes out next year? Now here’s your chance to actually get one courtesy of Barrett-Jackson Auction. Yes you read that right, the famous auction house is giving interested bidders an opportunity to take home the very first 2020 Supra.
Come January 19, 2019, the Barrett-Jackson Auction will hold the bidding of the all-new Supra in Scottsdale, Arizona. The one with the highest bid gets to take home the very first A90 Supra which comes with several unique features.
The one-of-a-kind Supra will have VIN number ‘20201’ and will be painted in a matte gray finish. Also, it will have red side mirror caps, red leather interior and matte black alloy wheels. To indicate that it is indeed the first new Supra, Toyota will also install a carbon fiber badge on the interior. There will also be additional features apart from those mentioned earlier that will be announced at a later date.
All of the proceeds of the sale will be shared by the American Heart Association (AHA) as well as the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which helps build and fund innovative programs for post 9/11 veterans.
With the new Supra set to make its official debut at the 2019 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, the Supra on display at Scottsdale, Arizona is not yet the actual car, Instead it’s a prototype that represents the actual production vehicle which will be delivered in the first half of 2019.
However, a leaked image of what could be the all-new production Supra found its way on an online forum. Based on the photo provided, the purported fifth-gen Supra remains faithful to the original concept’s design, albeit slightly toned down. You can check out that story by clicking on this link.
