Volkswagen PH eying midsize luxury segment with the 2015 Passat
After making its debut last year at Volkswagen's Design Center in Potsdam, Germany, Automobile Central Enterprise, Inc, the official retailer of Volkswagen vehicles in the country, recently held a special preview of the 2015 Passat.
Scheduled to make its official Philippine debut on October 21, 2015, Volkswagen PH is confident that the eighth-generation Passat will be able to seize a chunk of the midsize luxury segment with its German build quality, 42-year pedigree and its recent accolade of being awarded as the 2015 European Car of The Year.
“The introduction of the award-winning Passat will become the biggest product launch of the year for Volkswagen Philippines, With its formal unveiling on October 21, 2015, the Passat will be offered at a price range between PhP 2.25 million and PhP 2.75 million,” said John Philip Orbeta, President and CEO of Volkswagen Philippines.
Targeted for executives and businessmen according to Volkswagen PH, the 2015 Passat will arrive directly from Germany to Philippine showrooms complete with features such as LED headlights, Adaptive Chassis Control, 3-zone climate control, Park Distance Control, 12-way electric front seats, navigation and a panoramic sunroof.
For the Philippine market, it will be available in two variants, 'Business Edition' and 'Highline'.
