Gracing the affair is Mayor Tomas Osmeña of Cebu City and Miss Cheryl Ouano, representing Mayor Teddy Ouano of Mandaue City. The guests of honor, along with PAMOCOR president Franklyn Ong, PAMOCOR Vice President Engr. Sidney Po, Viking Cars, Inc. (VCI) Vice President for Marketing Services Lyn Buena and VCI Asst. Vice President for Business Development Dave Zaballero, unveiled the huge Volvo Cebu banner signage that signifies the presence of Volvo in the city. The 32 feet by 14 feet banner showcases the exhilarating line-up of Volvos that are revving up and raring to roll on Cebu roads.
Guests were treated afterwards to a sumptuous lunch at the Olio where Cebu City First Lady Margot Osmeña also joined the Volvo team. Adding more color to the significant occasion is the presence of a decal-clad Volvo XC90 showing off the vibrant and festive images that best depicts the Queen City of the South.
The 300 square meter area will house the latest Volvo models when it opens sometime in August this year. An aftersales facility will also be available for Volvo clients in the Visayas area.
