Watch out Shark 6: Jetour F700 plug-in hybrid pickup spotted
The Jetour Zongheng G700 will get a pickup truck version in the form of the F700

We already know that Jetour Auto Philippines Inc. (JAPI) plans to launch the Zongheng G700 flagship SUV sometime in 2026. Heck, Jetour Auto International president Ke Chuandeng officially confirmed that the G700 (along with other models from Jetour) is already lined up for the Philippine market.
Now, we're hoping that another Jetour eventually makes its way to the Philippines soon. This comes after spy photographers in the PRC were able to spot what looks to be a pickup truck from Jetour.

According to reports, the recently sighted pickup truck will be called the Zongheng F700, which will serve as the counterpart to the G700 flagship SUV. Based on the photos, the F700 will share the boxy design of the G700, albeit sporting a rear bed to carry cargo. It also has generous black body cladding, rugged bumpers, and side steps for easier ingress and egress.
Inside, the F700 sports the same cabin as the G700 with its squared-off design and high-tech amenities. These include the 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 35.4-inch panoramic display that spans the dashboard of the vehicle.

As to what will power the Jetour F700, leaked information suggests that it will have a 2.0L turbocharged engine that will be assisted by electric motors and a high-capacity battery. That means the pickup will likely make use of the G700's Kunpeng CDM-O plug-in hybrid powertrain. That means we can expect the F700 to produce a combined 904 PS with 1,135 Nm of torque and have an electric range of up to 100 km. Its total system range, however, is rated at just under 1,400 km.

Unlike most pickup trucks, which use a ladder frame chassis, the Jetour F700 will likely use a unibody design with a coil spring rear suspension. With that, we won't be surprised if the Jetour F700 has the likes of the BYD Shark 6 DM-O at its sights.
With Jetour's new plug-in hybrid pickup truck already spotted with a production body, we might not have to wait long for its official launch. We're keeping our fingers crossed that it will be offered here in the not-too-distant future.
