What do you think of the 2019 Mitsubishi Strada's tail lights?
Keeping in line with their current designs, the 2019 Mitsubishi Strada gets tail lights inspired by the Montero Sport

The heavily updated Mitsubishi Strada is about a month away and we know that it will get a Montero Sport-inspired front end. But are you curious as to how the back will look like? Well wait no longer as a vigilant member from the Triton Club in Thailand managed to spy it.
With the front looking similar to the Montero Sport, the back of the Strada gets the same 'teardrop' treatment as well. Those who aren't fans of this look may want to turn away now. But if you do like the extended LED light look of the Montero Sport, you might like the back of the 2019 Strada too.
Now, the photo is very blurry but the LED signature stands out from the darkness. There's a C shape at the top, which then extends all the way to the pick up's bumper. Also, the tailgate appears to be flatter than the current Strada's, and the bumper now looks more conventional. For now, we don't know the look of the whole tail light assembly but given the fact that the LEDs extend much further than before, we can expect a longer pair of vertical lights.
As for other details, little is known about the 2019 Strada aside from a new body. The 2.4-liter MIVEC turbodiesel is expected to be carried over from the current model although it remains to be seen if it will soon benefit from the Montero Sport's eight-speed automatic transmission. Minor interior changes are also to be expected.
Lastly, the folks from Headlightmag say that the new Mitsubishi Strada will make its world debut in Thailand on November 9. That means we wouldn't have to wait much longer for the newest pickup in town.
