The GR Supra is one of the most expensive Toyota models available to date, starting at PHP 4,990,000. With that, not everyone will have the opportunity to drive one, much less own a Supra. But, there is another way to have one in your garage or wherever you want to place it. Best of all, it only costs less than PHP 1,300. The only problem? It's a bit small, and you can't drive going to places. It also needs a bit of assembly.
Meet the Lego Toyota GR Supra. It's part of Lego's Speed Champions catalog for 2021. That said, the GR Supra isn't that hard to assemble, unlike the Lego Technik kits of the Porsche 911 GT3 and the Land Rover Defender. While it might be easier to build, it won't be as detailed as the Technik Lego kits. The GR Supra Lego kit only has 299 pieces in total, and it measures 16cm long, 7cm wide, and 4cm tall.
Interestingly, Lego decided to color the GR Supra kit in yellow rather than its signature red color. The toy company also did a great job capturing the details of the actual car, including the ducktail-style trunk and the twin-exit exhaust. There are even two sets of wheels available to choose from. It also has room for two Minifigures, with one Toyota driver already included in the set.
If you happen to be a GR Supra owner (even if it's not in yellow), then this kit is a must-have. Best of all, it's already available at the official Lego retailer in the Philippines. The price? It only costs PHP 1,299, and you can have it delivered straight to your doorstep. Not too sure how to use their website? Well, you can also order it from their official Shoppee account. We suggest you place an order now before they run out of stock.
Not into the Lego GR Supra? The rest of the 2021 Speed Champions lineup is already on sale in the Philippines as well.
