With the COVID-19 pandemic not going away anytime soon, automakers have had to come up with new ways to connect with and help their customers remotely. One of which is by way of online showrooms. With it, customers can book service appointments, reserve test drives, browse through various models, download brochures, and even inquire for financing options.
Kia Philippines will soon have an online showroom of their own after the automaker announced that they plan to launch it later this year. Simply called the 'Kia Virtual Showroom', all models on offer will be available for viewing and will feature several extra features.
The Virtual Showroom will allow users to see various Kia models in 360-degrees. That means users can take a look at their vehicle of choice in full detail; both inside and out. Customers can also select their preferred variant and compare it with the other models available.
Need a quote on your next Kia? The Virtual Showroom has a financing calculator that can compute how much you'll have to pay for your vehicle. In case you need to ask for more details regarding a vehicle or a certain type of service, a Facebook Chatbot will be on standby to take your inquiries. Online sales will also be present to help customers through the virtual showroom experience.
“With the rapid digitization of the car buying journey due to the pandemic, customers will increasingly prefer to do their product research online. Traditional customer interaction such as test drives, visiting dealer showrooms, and coordination with sales agents will be via digital touchpoints,” said Kia in a statement.
There's no exact date yet as to when Kia Philippines will launch the Virtual Showroom. They did mention, however, that they plan to have it online sometime in Q4 of this year. With COVID-19 cases continuing to rise, Kia's new Virtual Showroom will surely help customers that wish to buy a brand new car or book a service appointment while in the safety and comforts of their home.
