Motorists that have yet to get an EasyTrip RFID sticker can soon schedule an appointment to secure one. EasyTrip Services Corporation (ESC) recently announced that it will be launching an online reservation system that will cater to those that plan to install an RFID sticker.

Called the Online RFID Reservation and Appointment System (ORRAS), customers will be required to scan a QR code in order to book an appointment. There, users can pick their installation site of choice, the date upon which they will visit, as well as their preferred time slot for RFID sticker installation.

Motorists must follow these steps in order to secure an appointment via ORRAS.

1.) Scan the EasyTrip QR code that can be found in NLEX, CAVITEX, CALAX Facebook pages, Twitter, Instagram, or EasyTrip Facebook Page/website

2.) Fill out the registration form

3.) After registering, choose your preferred date, time, and location.

Once the process has been completed, the registrant/user will receive a confirmation through their indicated email address. The email will have an attached QR code that contains information on the location, date, and time slot, chosen by the user. Users will be required to show the email confirmation on their appointment date at the installation site they chose.

The new online-based appointment-only RFID sticker installation will initially be rolled out in select locations. These include:

• CALAX Greenfield (Mamplasan)
• CAVITEX Paranaque Plaza Northbound
• CAVITEX Paranaque Plaza Southbound
• C5 South Link Westbound
• Shell Pamplona, Alabang-Zapote Rd., Las Pinas City
• Shell Panapaan, Bacoor, Cavite (in front of Puregold Bacoor)
• Shell Real 2, Aguinaldo Highway, Imus, Cavite (near Maynilad – Welcome to Imus Arch)
• NLEX Drive and Dine, Canumay West, Valenzuela City

In the future, ESC will add more appointment-only stations to serve customers.

With AutoSweep already having an online-based system (albeit glitchy at times), EasyTrip's new appointment-based system should help alleviate congestion at major toll plazas located along NLEX, CAVITEX, CALAX, C5 South Link, as well as in SCTEX.
