MG launches online showroom for easier, safer purchasing

During the course of the pandemic, several automakers came up with various ways to make car buying safer for everyone. There's the adherence to social distancing measures in showrooms, and the rise of online showrooms just to name a few. At the same time, more manufacturers are using the internet as a purchasing platform for potential buyers.

One of them is MG, and they launched a website dedicated to that. Dubbed BuyAnMG.com, it provides a virtual showroom and purchasing experience from the safety of the customer's home.

MG

“The introduction of BuyAnMG.com represents the reinforcement of our brand position and a new chapter in our local MG brand story, as well as a notable milestone for all Filipino auto buyers. With BuyAnMG.com, we aim to address any limitations or reservations our clients may have when making physical visits to any of our nationwide dealerships by bringing the MG showroom experience to the convenience of their smart devices,” said Atty. Alberto B. Arcilla, president, and CEO of MG Philippines.

The website is now live and features easy-to-navigate pages for the browser's convenience. MG Philippines made sure that the site is interactive for a more immersive experience. 360-degree tours and walkaround videos are just some of the highlights of the virtual showroom. A financial calculator and price guide are also present for the customer to match his or her budget with a specific model. Customers can express their interest through the inquire button on each variant, and the interactive chat box adds a personal touch to the online experience.

Aside from the website, MG is getting ready to launch a new SUV. It's dubbed the RX8, and it's coming to showrooms soon. With that, we can expect it in the virtual showroom once it's launched later this year.
