No safeguard bond, Changan PH giving discounts instead

Changan slashes prices of Alsvin, CS35, CS75

The implementation of added safeguard bonds has made brand new cars just a little bit more expensive. Changan PH is all about ease of ownership, it seems, and they opted to cut their prices instead of applying a price hike. Those in the market for either a crossover or a sedan are in for a good deal with Changan – not only are they giving an added discount, but their vehicles are still being sold at their introductory prices as well.

Starting with Alsvin, all three of its variants get PHP 40,000 off their price tag. Changan’s B-segment offering comes with a lot of amenities such as a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and USB, steering wheel audio controls, 12V power outlet, reverse camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The top-spec Platinum variant even comes with leather upholstery, cruise control, power sunroof, and reverse parking sensors.

The 1.4L MT, 1.4L DCT, and 1.5L DCT Platinum variants are priced at PHP 539,000, PHP 599,000, and PHP 639,000, respectively.

For those looking for something bigger, there are the CS35 Plus and the CS75 Plus – and both are getting a PHP 70,000 discount. Powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged inline-four with direct injection mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox with sport mode, the CS35 Plus is no slouch. Its features and amenities include a 10-inch touchscreen display with Bluetooth and USB connectivity, a 4-inch digital instrument panel, automatic climate control with rear vents and N95-grade filter, panoramic sunroof, full-leather upholstery, projector halogens, 18-inch alloy wheels, remote engine start, cruise control, reverse camera with parking sensors, and TPMS.

The CS75 Plus, on the other hand, is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged, direct-injection inline-four paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. In-car equipment includes a 7-inch digital instrument panel, a 12-inch infotainment system, power-adjustable driver's seat, steering wheel audio controls, automatic climate control with rear vents, panoramic sunroof, six-speaker sound system, and remote engine start. The CS75 Plus also gets a 360-degree panoramic camera, and traction control as standard.

Pricing after discount for the CS35 Plus is now at PHP 999,000 and PHP 1,229,000 for the CS75 Plus.
