2015 Aston Martin Rapide

updated: February 21, 2015 13:51 | launched: 18-03-18 08:14:21

The rise of high-performance four-door sports saloons from other marques have given Aston Martin something to ponder about; whether to jump into the fray or stick to making two-door Grand Tourers. It appears they’ve gone with the former by breaking tradition and unveiling the Rapide. Despite having two extra doors, the Rapide adheres to the svelte signature Aston Martin bodylines as close as a four-door ever could. Its pampered interior is purely a four-seater affair, with no space for a fifth individual at the center thanks to its elevated central column. The updated Rapide S comes with a 6.0L V12 rated at 558PS sending power to the rear wheels through an 8-speed Automatic transmission.
