When Aston Martin found themselves testing their cars on Germany’s infamous Nürburgring, they set out to create a car that would be geared towards clients who would opt for something more agile or nimble. In contrast to the DB9’s orientation towards comfort and cruising, the Vantage was created with speed and agility in mind. Being Aston Martin’s entry towards the sports car segment the Vantage is proportioned slightly smaller compared to the DB9, making it nimbler and easier to corner. The Vantage can either be had with a 4.7L V8 pushing 425PS or with the 6.0L V12 found in the DB9 rated at 510PS. The Vantage can be fitted with a 6-speed semi-automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission.
