2016 Hyundai Grand Starex

updated: September 02, 2017 00:08 | launched: 17-10-18 19:19:30

It could be said that the Starex was the one that made Hyundai a household name in the country. With a decent price and 10 seat capacity, the Starex won the hearts of many and became a massive success for Hyundai. Now called the Grand Starex, it retains the 10 to 12 seat configuration and has a more car-like interior and offers utility in spades. It is also one of the few vans in the market to offer a stability control system. The Grand Starex comes with either a 2.5 liter CRDI engine and a 2.5 liter TCI diesel engine each variant offering different power outputs.

More recently, Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (HARI) decided to offer a new 15-seater Super Express for shuttle and UV business customers.

Prices for the Grand Starex starts at PHP 1,378,000 to PHP 1,988,000.

A new variant is their Grand Starex Super Express (GSSE). The name itself should hint at the target market, serving as a viable alternative to the typical UV Express options.
