Hyundai's perennial entry in the compact crossover segment is now longer, wider, sleeker and more powerful for 2016.Featuring the brand's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0, the 2016 Tucson now has a more aggressive and clean exterior design while still retaining its signature shape. All variants now have projector-type headlights and an audio system that supports AM/FM radio, CD, USB and Aux. High-end models will even come with extra amenities like engine start/stop button, hill-start assist and power adjustable seats. Power will still come in the form of either a 2.0-liter Nu gasoline inline-four or the 2.0-liter CRDi with e-VGT.
Now Hyundai has a new challenger into the compact crossover SUV segment with the new generation 2016 Tucson, and to see what it can do, Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) organized a media drive from Ilo-ilo to one of the best tropical destinations in the world, the island of Boracay.
The drive was divided into three parts so that participants would get the chance to get behind the wheel of the Tucson 2WD Gas, 2WD CRDi and 4WD CRDi variants, all of which get six-speed automatic transmissions.
