There's a new six-seater crossover in town, and it's smaller than your typical midsize SUV/crossover. It's the Mazda CX-8, and it sits below the much bigger CX-9. With Japan not having the CX-9 in their home market, Mazda thought up of the CX-8 to serve as their three-row crossover. And now, it's also available here in the country. If you prefer it with more seats, the captain seats in the middle can be replaced with a standard three-seat bench. All models of the CX-8 are powered by a 2.5-liter SkyActiv-G inline-four that is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The CX-8 is available either in front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive.
