The Rexton name is back in the Philippines and it wants to take a piece of the seven-seater midsize SUV market. Bigger, sleeker, and chock-full of amenities and features, the second-generation Ssangyong Rexton is unlike its predecessor. And like its exterior, the cabin of the new Rexton looks and feels more premium thanks to brown leather upholstery, faux metal trim and glossy trim pieces. Apple CarPlay, as well as Android Auto come as standard, along with USB, Aux, and Bluetooth connectivity on the 2019 Rexton. Power comes from a 2.2-liter turbo-diesel inline-four that is mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox. 4WD is available only for the top-spec model.
