At the heart of the Crosstrek e-Boxer Hybrid is a 2.0L boxer flat-four engine that’s assisted by an electric motor that’s placed longitudinally along the vehicle to maintain its low center of gravity and a small lithium-ion battery pack. The result is a total system output of 156 PS at 6000 rpm along with 196 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to all four wheels via a Lineartronic CVT and the brand’s Symmetrical AWD.
