An ever-growing family of Suzuki Ertiga enthusiasts

Back in 2015, nine Suzuki Ertiga fans gathered around to form what eventually became Club Ertiga Philippines. Founded by EJ Reyes, Eric Raymundo, John Ballesteros, Rosalio Jose, Kareem Duazo, Vic Lumen, Zanny Vicedo and Russel Malto, the club was formed to bring Ertiga enthusiasts across the country closer together. Since then, the club has grown to 480 official members and over 2,000 followers.

In their Facebook page, the primary objective of Club Ertiga Philippines is to create a community of family with the same passion and to provide awareness and information about Suzuki's popular MPV. The community also helps each other by sharing tips and pieces of advice to fellow Ertiga owners, as well as future owners.

To further strengthen the bond among club members, Club Ertiga Philippines pushes for EBs once a month. Smaller chapters meanwhile set up their own get-togethers as often as they can. These EBs and get-togethers are seen in their Facebook page. If members want to hang out, places are subject to the chapter admins.

As far as the national council is concerned, meet ups are usually in Mister Kebab or at Suzuki East Avenue, both of which are in Quezon City. The most recent Grand EB coincided with the club's anniversary Last February 4. Held at Inggo's Grill in Pasay City, the GEB saw a record attendance of 88 cars with almost 200 people in attendance.

For the past 2 years the club has been a part of several charity events for children. They also get other Suzuki clubs involved and has even partnered up with ClubCiaz for social works. Most recently, members from Cebu made a food donation drive for the homeless during last year's holiday season.

So how does one join Club Ertiga Philippines? Of course, ownership of Suzuki's seven-seater is a must. Along with that, the aspiring member must actively participate in the group's Facebook page, be it to learn about the car and or share their experiences with other members. The club also invites those who are interested in owning an Ertiga.
