2015 Honda Civic Type R to race in BTCC
The Honda Yuasa Racing developed race-spec 2015 Honda Civic Type R is packed with more power and even more dynamics.

Honda has announced that the 2015 Civic Type R will race in this year's British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
Since last September, Honda Yuasa Racing has started working on the race-spec Civic Type R. The Japanese automaker says the car has been designed and built in the Team Dynamics workshops in Pershore, Worcestershire.

The race-spec Civic Type R is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo engine similar to the standard model. However, the race-spec version has been tuned for 45 PS more, generating an output of 355 PS while the torque remains the same at 400 Nm.

The race-spec 2015 Civic Type R is scheduled to be officially unveiled at the BTCC media day on March 24.
