Batangas Racing Circuit Inc., (BRCI) appoints Racewell Marketing, as the promotion arm of its locally-owned circuits. The marketing company will now be responsible for handling on-track admissions, amenities, food, hospitality and media relations. It will also handle paddock and garage rentals, trade area bookings, and track advertisements for race teams, retailers, and sponsors.
The agreement was officially sealed on February 12, 2014 at the Boom na Boom Complex in Pasay City between BRCI Managing Head for Corporate Communications Nelson Gayola and Racewell Marketing CEO Robert Ortiz.
“Our goal at Racewell Marketing is to help Philippine motorsports host better races and welcome more visitors, so much so that it will become an extraordinary experience for all. We're positive that the efforts we put into this partnership will benefit the sport as a whole and also be able to attract more companies to invest in terms of sponsorship,” said Robert Ortiz, Racewell Marketing CEO.
Racewell will operate BRCI circuits in Pampanga, Batangas, Cavite and Pasay City. These are the Clark International Speedway, Batangas Racing Circuit, Carmona Race Track, and Boomland Kart Track. The partnership project aims to enhance the hospitality building, viewing deck and VIP rooms of the said circuits. Basic track amenities like walkways, restrooms and general parking areas will also be rehabilitated to encourage more spectators to attend events.
“We are delighted to have Racewell Marketing on board. The services they offer will certainly make our race tracks more accessible and accommodating for both the racers and visitors. It also lets us focus more our core competency, which is to manage the activities on track,” said Nelson Gayola, BRCI Managing Head for Corporate Communications Department.
Both groups will work closely together to improve the overall quality, awareness, and appeal of Philippine motorsports.
