With one round over and three more to go, the 5th season of the City Media Challenge promises to be the most exciting season ever!
For the second year running, Caltex Vortex and Havoline Motor Oils is a major sponsor of the event which has sixteen four-man teams vying for this year’s top honors.
Powering the four City Type Z VTECs is Caltex Vortex, a new generation, high performance unleaded fuel that cleans the engines for more explosive power and lightning-quick response.
Meanwhile, Havoline Motor Oil provides the lubrication and protection for the City Type Z VTEC engines. Havoline is available in the market in 3 variants – Formula, Energy and Fully Synthetic.
With Team Formula Red (composed of Jons Crisostomo – Dragracingpinoy.com, Iris Cruz – GMA 7, Lito German – Manila Standard and Raul Virtudazo – DZBB) leading in the team standings with 30 championship points, round two is slated to run on Saturday, June 15th at the Liwasang Ipil-Ipil of the CCP Complex in Manila.
The City Media Challenge is presented by Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. Other sponsors include Michelin for the official tires, thru its distributor, Tiarra Commercial and Industrial Corporation, Aitech for the stickers and Nodalo’s Trading for the car modifications. The event is organized by ADBM Resources in partnership with Activity Asia Association and Roadwise Motoring School.
