Mark Webber hospitalized after a horrific crash in Brazil

Former Formula One driver Mark Webber was hospitalized after getting involved in a “serious” collision during a World Endurance Championship race in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
In a report by BBC, Webber's Porsche 919 Hybrid collided with Matteo Cressoni's vehicle during the six hour endurance race. Based on the video posted below, the impact destroyed Webber's vehicle.
Webber has been taken to a local hospital in Sao Paulo and will stay overnight for “precautionary checks.” According to the Australian driver's official facebook page, Webber is currently in a “satisfactory condition” and his teammates Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley had already visited him.

The FIA said the race ended under the safety car following the accident. As of this writing, the cause of the accident has yet to be confirmed.
