Mick Schumacher debuts in Formula 4 with top rookie award
16 year-old Mick Schumacher completed his racing debut during the opening race of the 2015 ADAC Formula 4 Championship

The son of Michael Schumacher, Mick, has completed his racing debut with a strong note as he finished as the top rookie in the ADAC Formula 4 Championship.
The 16 year-old finished ninth overall out of 35 starters during the opening round of the season at Oschersleben in Germany. Mick managed to move up ten places from his starting position which enabled him to be regarded as the top rookie.

For this year's season, Mick races for Van Amersfoort Racing, the same team that Max Verstappen drove in the FIA Formula 3 Championship last 2014.
In addition, the said series features a rookies' championship where Mick started second on the grid but, took the lead and controlled the entire race.
