Team Passion Orange with members Dodjie Aguila (Today), Angelo Almonte (DzMM), Jude Crisostomo (Dragracingpinoy.com) and Benj Ngo (Autoindustriya.com) posted the fastest team time, winning them the final round of this year's City Media Challenge series held last Saturday, October 12 at the CCP Complex.
With the 30 championship points added to their current scores, their series total has added up to 81 championship points, and earning them 2nd place in the over-all standings for this year.
Present at the affair was Honda Cars Philippines, Inc.'s new president and General Manager Mitsunari Takano, as well as representatives from major sponsor Caltex and tire sponsor Michelin.
Second place for the round went to team Satin Silver (Kap Aguila - Philippine Star, Ferdie Baja - DzEC, Lester Dizon - Gadgets Magazine and Jay Taruc - GMA 7) making their total 108 championship points and finishing in 1st place for the season.
The last of the podium finishers was team Sunburst Yellow (Tim Alipalo - Associated Press, Lucky Besa - Men's Zone Magazine and Eric Soriano - Drive.com.ph), placing them in 7th place overall for the season.
In the individual standings, James Deakin (C!Magazine) clocked the best time of the day and added another 30 points under his belt (81 total - 2nd place, overall). Second place went to Lito German (Manila Standard) and the third-place honors were taken by Bernard de Lara (Tempo).
The fifth season of the City Media Challenge is presented by Honda Cars Philippines. Official fuel is Caltex Vortex while the official lubricant is Caltex Havoline. The official tires are courtesy of Michelin thru its distributor, Tiarra Commercial and Industrial Corporation. Other sponsors include Nodalo's Trading and Aitech.
The City Media Challenge is organized by ADBM Resources, in partnership with Activity Asia Association and Roadwise Motoring School.
